In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth.
2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of GOD was hovering over the face of the vapours.
3 Then GOD said, "Let there be light;" and there was light.
4 And GOD saw the light was good; and GOD divided the light from the darkness.
5 GOD called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 Then GOD said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the vapour, and let it divide the vapour from the vapour."
7 Thus GOD made the expanse, and divided the vapour under the expanse from the vapour above the expanse; and it was so.
8 And GOD called the expanse Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 Then GOD said, "Let the vapour under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry appear." Gen1

10 But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
12 Looking for and hastening the coming of the day of GOD, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2Pet3
NOW I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Rev21
